As far as being critiqued, yes people can be ignorant on how they present their critique as far as being rude and deconstructive. I had my share of which I’m sure you had too. But remember even if one(s) may not like your artistic flare or piazzas there are just as many that do.

Nice use of colors. Good sence of flow with the water fall. You may want ot soften the edge of the moutain on the right side curve by the tree. Like the concept of the chains holding the supended island.

Thank you. I played around with concept of suspending a chunk of land with chains a week ago for my last project but It didn't have what I needed for that project so I scrapped it. Since this week's project was about Arial Perspective I decided to give it another go. I'm happy with how it turned out, though there are some obvious mistakes that I made that I didn't notice at the time (like the mountain in the background that you pointed out and the waterfall having a weird bend to it on the left of the big tree).
I got my Bachelor of Science Degree from the Art Institute of California- Orange County Class of 2004. There, I deepened my understanding of 3-D animation and overall design. My goal is to do animation, 3D modeling, and interactive products for children.
